Subscriptions

Lines Police CAD offers subscription plans to enhance your experience on our platform. We provide two types of subscriptions: User Subscription Plans for individual users and Community Promotion Tiers for advertising communities. By subscribing to any plan, you agree to the following terms:

User Subscription Plans

These plans enhance your personal experience on the platform:

Plans and Features:

  • Base Plan ($3/month or $2.67/month annually): Allows you to create up to 5 communities, access default departments, and experience the app with full ads.
  • Premium Plan ($8/month or $7.08/month annually): Includes a verified checkmark on your profile, the ability to create up to 10 communities, access to default departments, and a reduced ad experience with up to 50% fewer ads.
  • Premium + Plan ($19.99/month or $17.49/month annually): Provides a verified checkmark, unlimited community creation, and an ad-free experience.

Billing and Payment:

  • User Subscription Plans are available on a monthly or annual basis. Annual plans offer a discounted rate, saving you 12% compared to the monthly billing option.
  • You will be charged the full amount for the selected billing period (monthly or annual) at the time of subscription.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You must cancel at least 24 hours prior to the next renewal to avoid additional charges.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize Lines Police CAD to charge the applicable subscription fees.

Cancellation and Management:

  • You may cancel your User Subscription Plan at any time through the "Manage Subscription" section of the app. Upon cancellation, your subscription benefits will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
  • Terms may vary depending on the platform you subscribed on (e.g., iOS, Android, or web). You are responsible for managing your subscription directly with the platform provider if applicable.

User Obligations:

  • You agree not to share your User Subscription Plan benefits with other users or attempt to bypass subscription limits (e.g., creating additional accounts to exceed community creation limits).
  • Lines Police CAD reserves the right to suspend or terminate your subscription if we detect misuse or violation of these terms.

Community Boost & Promotion

Lines Police CAD offers two separate systems for promoting your community on the platform: Community Boosts (available on the web) and Community Promotions (available on the mobile app). Both systems provide similar promotional benefits but are operated independently with different pricing, billing models, and management methods. Purchasing a boost or promotion on one platform does not affect or transfer to the other.

Web Community Boosts

Community Boosts are one-time purchases available on the web at linespolice-cad.com. They provide promotional benefits for a fixed duration of 1, 3, or 6 months. Multi-month bundles are offered at a discounted rate compared to purchasing individual months.

Tiers and Pricing:

  • Basic Tier ($3/1mo, $7/3mo, $12/6mo): Boosted placement in community search results.
  • Standard Tier ($5/1mo, $12/3mo, $20/6mo): Boosted in search results, promotional text in search, and a verified community badge.
  • Premium Tier ($8/1mo, $19/3mo, $32/6mo): Boosted in search results, promotional text in search, verified community badge, and a boost on the Discover Communities page.
  • Elite Tier ($15/1mo, $36/3mo, $60/6mo): All Premium features plus a featured spot on the Home Page and a promotional description (up to 200 characters).

Billing and Payment:

  • Web Community Boosts are one-time payments, not recurring subscriptions. You are charged once for the selected duration and your boost expires at the end of that period.
  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe. You agree to provide accurate payment information and authorize Lines Police CAD to charge the applicable boost fee.

Upgrades, Extensions, and Downgrades:

  • Upgrades: If you upgrade to a higher tier while an active boost is in effect, the unused portion of your current boost will be prorated and credited toward the new purchase price. The credit is calculated based on the remaining days of your current boost relative to its total duration.
  • Extensions: If you purchase the same tier again while an active boost is in effect, the new duration will be added to your existing expiration date.
  • Downgrades: You cannot downgrade to a lower tier while an active boost is in effect. You must wait for the current boost to expire before purchasing a lower tier.

Mobile App Community Promotions

Community Promotions are recurring subscriptions available through the Lines Police CAD mobile app (iOS and Android). They provide similar promotional benefits to Web Community Boosts but are billed as monthly auto-renewing subscriptions at different price points.

Tiers and Pricing:

  • Basic Tier ($4.99/month)
  • Standard Tier ($9.99/month)
  • Premium Tier ($19.99/month)
  • Elite Tier ($49.99/month)

Billing and Payment:

  • Mobile App Community Promotions are recurring monthly subscriptions billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours prior to the next renewal.
  • You are responsible for managing your subscription directly through your device's app store subscription settings.

Why the Pricing Differs:

Web Community Boosts and Mobile App Community Promotions are two independent systems. The mobile app pricing is higher due to platform fees charged by Apple and Google on in-app purchases. Web Boosts are processed directly through Stripe, which allows us to offer lower prices and multi-month bundle discounts. Both systems provide the same promotional benefits for your community.

User Obligations (Both Systems):

  • Promotional text must comply with our content guidelines and must not contain inappropriate, offensive, or misleading information. Lines Police CAD reserves the right to reject or remove promotional text that violates these guidelines.
  • The verified community badge and featured placements (e.g., on the Discover Communities page or Home Page) are subject to availability and may be adjusted at Lines Police CAD's discretion.
  • You agree not to misuse promotion features, such as using multiple accounts to promote the same community beyond the allowed limits.
  • Lines Police CAD reserves the right to suspend or terminate your community boost or promotion if we detect misuse or violation of these terms.

Feature Descriptions:

Lines Police CAD provides feature descriptions to help you understand the benefits of each subscription plan and community promotion tier. These descriptions are accessible via an information icon next to each feature in the subscription selection screen. By interacting with these icons, you acknowledge the following:

  • Feature descriptions are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute a guarantee of specific functionality or performance.
  • Lines Police CAD reserves the right to modify or discontinue features at any time, with or without notice. Any such changes will be reflected in the subscription selection screen and updated feature descriptions.
  • Accessing feature descriptions does not affect your subscription status or billing.

Content Creator Program

The Lines Police CAD Content Creator Program ("Program") is a voluntary program for content creators who produce content featuring Lines Police CAD. By participating in this Program, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Program, you must have at least 500 followers on a single content platform (e.g., YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, etc.). Follower counts across multiple platforms cannot be combined to meet this requirement. For example, having 200 followers on YouTube and 300 followers on Twitch would not qualify.

Follower Verification

Follower counts are subject to periodic verification by our system. You must provide accurate follower information when applying and when syncing your follower counts. Knowingly providing false or misleading follower information may result in immediate removal from the Program and potential suspension from Lines Police CAD services.

Grace Period

If your follower count drops below 500 on all platforms after being accepted into the Program, you will enter a 30-day grace period. During this time, you will retain your Program benefits while you work to meet the minimum requirement again. If you do not meet the requirement by the end of the grace period, you will be removed from the Program.

Program Benefits

Program participants receive the following benefits:

  • A free Base Plan subscription for your Lines Police CAD account (the account used to apply)
  • A free Base Plan subscription for one community you own
  • A public profile on the Content Creators page
  • Recognition within the Lines Police CAD community

Benefits are subject to change at any time at the sole discretion of Lines Police CAD.

Existing Subscriptions

If you or your community already have a higher-tier subscription (e.g., Premium or Premium+) when joining the Program, we will not downgrade your subscription to the Base Plan. You will keep your existing subscription as long as you continue paying for it.

Example: If you have a Premium+ subscription and become a content creator, you will keep your Premium+ subscription as long as you continue paying. If you cancel your Premium+ subscription and it expires, you will then be placed on the free Base Plan as part of the Program benefits.

The same applies to community subscriptions. If your community has a higher-tier subscription, it will not be downgraded when you apply the Program promotion.

Community Promotion

Content creators may apply a free Base Plan subscription to one community they own. This promotion cannot be transferred to another community once applied.

Content Guidelines

As a Program participant, you are expected to create content that positively represents Lines Police CAD. Content that is hateful, discriminatory, promotes illegal activity, or damages the reputation of Lines Police CAD may result in removal from the Program.

Removal from Program

Lines Police CAD reserves the right to remove any participant from the Program at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to: failure to meet eligibility requirements, providing false information, violating these terms or the general Terms and Conditions, or conduct that damages the reputation of Lines Police CAD.

Upon removal, all Program benefits will be immediately revoked. If your account or community subscription was provided as part of the Program (Base Plan), it will be reverted to the Free tier. If you have a higher-tier paid subscription that you were paying for independently, that subscription will remain active.

Voluntary Withdrawal

You may withdraw from the Program at any time by submitting a withdrawal request through your creator dashboard.

Upon withdrawal, all Program benefits will be immediately revoked. If your account or community subscription was provided as part of the Program (Base Plan), it will be reverted to the Free tier. If you have a higher-tier paid subscription that you were paying for independently, that subscription will remain active.

No Employment Relationship

Participation in the Program does not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between you and Lines Police CAD. You are an independent content creator and are solely responsible for your content and actions.

Modifications to Program

Lines Police CAD reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program or these terms at any time. Continued participation in the Program after changes have been made constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

Community Deletion & Restoration

When you delete a community — whether through the mobile app, the website, or any community management interface — the community is immediately hidden from all members and other users but retained in our systems for a 30-day grace period before being permanently and irrevocably deleted.

The 30-Day Grace Period

During the grace period:

  • The community and all of its associated data — including members, civilians, vehicles, firearms, calls, BOLOs, court records, warrants, audit logs, and any uploaded content — cannot be accessed, browsed, or interacted with by any user, including the owner.
  • The community is removed from all search, discover, leaderboard, and your-communities surfaces.
  • The deleted community does not count toward your subscription tier's community-creation cap. You may create a new community immediately if you wish.
  • Active subscriptions tied to the community continue to bill on their normal cycle unless cancelled separately through your subscription management interface. Cancelling the subscription does not restore the community.

Requesting Restoration

If you wish to restore a deleted community before the 30-day grace period elapses, you may submit a restoration request through our Contact Us page. Restoration requests are reviewed and processed at Lines Police CAD's sole discretion; we make no guarantee that any individual restore request will be granted. We may decline restoration requests for any reason, including but not limited to suspected abuse, violations of these Terms, or operational considerations.

If you have created a new community after deleting your previous one, restoring the previous community may result in your account temporarily exceeding your subscription tier's community cap. In that case, you may be required to delete or transfer ownership of one of the communities to remain in compliance with the cap.

Permanent Deletion After 30 Days

After the 30-day grace period elapses, the community and all of its associated data are permanently deleted from our active systems and cannot be recovered by any means — including support intervention, backups, or any other mechanism. Permanent deletion is final and irreversible.

Immediate Permanent Deletion on Request

If you wish to permanently delete a community immediately and waive the 30-day grace period, you may submit a request through our Contact Us page. Once an immediate permanent deletion has been executed by our staff, the community and all of its associated data are irretrievably destroyed and cannot be restored.

Subscription Implications

Deleting a community does not automatically cancel any subscriptions, boosts, or promotions tied to that community. You are responsible for cancelling any associated paid services separately to avoid further charges. Refunds for paid services on a deleted community are governed by the subscription, boost, and promotion sections of these Terms, and are not automatically issued upon deletion.

Admin Console & Linked LPC Accounts

This section applies to users who hold an account in the Lines Police CAD Admin Console (an "Admin") and elect to link that admin account to a regular Lines Police CAD user account (a "Linked LPC Account"). These terms supplement, and do not replace, the rest of these Terms and Conditions; you remain bound by every other section as a regular user of the platform.

Eligibility & Access

Admin Console access is granted only to individuals invited by Lines Police CAD and is intended for moderation, support, and platform administration. Admin credentials are personal, non-transferable, and must not be shared, sold, or otherwise disclosed.

Your admin account exists separately from any regular Lines Police CAD user account you may also hold. Possession of an admin account does not, on its own, grant elevated privileges anywhere on the consumer-facing platform.

Linking an LPC Account

Linking is a voluntary action you initiate from the Admin Console. By completing the link flow and accepting these terms in the linking dialog, you acknowledge that:

  • The Linked LPC Account you select must be one you own and operate. You must not link to an account belonging to another person.
  • Each Linked LPC Account may be associated with at most one admin account at a time. The platform will reject attempts to link a user account that is already linked to another admin.
  • While a link is in place, your Admin Console account will be used solely for signing in to the Admin Console; it will not receive elevated access on Lines Police CAD itself.
  • Elevated access on admin-gated, user-facing features (for example, moderation actions on Feature Requests) will be granted exclusively to the Linked LPC Account. Creating, registering, or signing in with any other Lines Police CAD account — including one whose email matches your admin email — will not confer admin privileges on that other account.
  • You may relink to a different Linked LPC Account or disconnect the link at any time from the Admin Profile page.

Conduct & Acceptable Use

When acting through your Linked LPC Account in any admin-gated capacity, you agree to:

  • Use elevated capabilities only for legitimate platform administration, moderation, or support — never for personal advantage, harassment, or to circumvent normal user limits.
  • Treat any user data you encounter (emails, usernames, communities, content) as confidential. Do not disclose, export, or use such data outside of an administrative purpose.
  • Take administrative actions in good faith, with reasonable care, and consistent with applicable law and platform policies.
  • Refrain from impersonating users, retaliating against users, or favoring accounts you have a personal or financial relationship with.
  • Maintain reasonable security on the devices and credentials used to access the Admin Console and the Linked LPC Account, and report any suspected compromise to Lines Police CAD without delay.

Data We Record on Linking

When you link a Linked LPC Account, Lines Police CAD records the user account identifier and email being linked, the date and time of the link, the version of these terms in effect at acceptance, and the timestamp at which you accepted them. This record is kept for as long as the link is active and may be retained afterward, in accordance with our Privacy Policy, for security audit, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

Disconnection, Suspension & Revocation

You may disconnect a Linked LPC Account at any time. Disconnection is immediate: elevated access on linked features ceases as soon as the change is recorded, although your audit trail of past administrative actions is preserved.

Lines Police CAD may suspend, modify, or permanently revoke admin privileges and/or any account link at any time, with or without notice, for any reason — including suspected misuse, breach of these terms, account compromise, or operational need. Such revocation does not, on its own, terminate the underlying user account or admin account, except where those are also subject to suspension under other provisions of these terms.

No Employment Relationship

Holding an admin account or linking an LPC Account does not create an employment, partnership, or agency relationship with Lines Police CAD. Administrative duties, where any are performed, are voluntary unless a separate written agreement specifies otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

Lines Police CAD may revise this section from time to time. When the substance of these admin-linking terms changes, the version identifier recorded against your acceptance will be incremented and you may be asked to re-accept the updated terms before continuing to use elevated features. Continued use of the Admin Console or a Linked LPC Account after acceptance constitutes agreement to the revised terms.
